Lawyer, multiple world kickboxing and Thai boxing Hungarian champion, very pretty, and holds training sessions for ladies to release her own femininity - on Dívány, dr. Bettina Csábi

Is it really legal that asserting yourself as a woman can only be done through masculine means? If someone, then Dr. Bettina Csábi - multiple professional kickboxing world champion and professional Thai boxing Hungarian champion, as well as a graduated lawyer - just knows. We talked to her. There was a series whose protagonist, Glenn Close, plays a ruthless but respectable lawyer. In The Web of Power, its main character does not shy away from masculine games to achieve his goal. Dr. Bettina Csábi has de alt out quite a few slaps in the ring, but she gets along well with everyday difficult situations.

The legal field and the ring are an interesting combination. Although both can be considered "combat sports", how do they fit in with femininity and feminine attitudes? Were you attracted by the nature of the two areas requiring masculine strength and action?

Bettina Csábi: I think the legal career is not necessarily for women. Primarily because the focus is on law enforcement and not justice. This is the first thing they teach at university, and it is very difficult for a woman to accept it. No matter what they say, women mainly listen to their emotions, and in this work - even if they know that a paragraph is a paragraph - it is very difficult to get away from that. That's why it's hard for a judge, or even a lawyer, to defend someone who deep down knows he's wrong. Law does not look at people, but at matters; this is how lawyers try to keep such emotional dilemmas away from themselves, but a woman can't really succeed.

Did you have any cases that put you at a crossroads in this regard?

No, because I only worked in this profession for a year and was only a draftsman, so I de alt with payment orders and enforcement matters, for example. But precisely because of the aforementioned, it became clear to me that this career was not for me. I'm more of an emotional person, and I think that my life needs positive affirmations, positive energies; I like to deal with things that have a direct sense of success. That's why I chose boxing instead of law.

And in boxing, which is a tough sport, doesn't a woman become masculine?

No, not at all! Most of the female racers I know are very pretty. And I have found that women can fight for their goals better than men. For example, in boxing there are so-called "bringers". This is the name given to those who, by training together, learn how to get to the highest possible level. Lifters don't have much of a chance against, say, a partner preparing for a championship match, but I've observed that female lifters fight to the last breath, while men give up the fight when they see that they're about to lose. So women can be much tougher if they fight for themselves, and I think this applies in all fields, whether it's law or sports.

What special personality traits are required for this sport?

The most important thing, which is essential for life, is purposefulness, consistency, and the ability to fight for what you want to achieve.

He was never afraid of his face and body during training and competitions; your beauty?

Oh no, no, because I'm wearing protective gear, but of course I had injuries. It comes with such a combat sport. The same as the risk of an accident in motorcycle or car racing. Fortunately, I had no permanent injuries.

She stopped competitive sports a few years ago, now she is a businesswoman and has her own company. Managing a company is also quite a manly thing

You have to be as tough in business as you are in the ring. There is no room for mercy here, everyone has to look out for their own interests. The point here is to have as many satisfied customers as possible and to produce the best possible quality. This is the only way to achieve success.

What is success for you?

Definitely a result that is the fruit of very hard work. Success does not fall into one's lap. It is no coincidence that when someone in sports gets on the podium, especially the highest one, they often cry. Because - and this is the case not only in a sports competition, but also in the conclusion of every major deal in business life - one suddenly cannot comprehend and process how much success he has achieved. A certain amount of time must elapse, but until then it only remembers the work invested. For me, success means that consistent work has taken off.

There are countless examples of women in leadership positions having almost no private life or their family life running aground. Let me quote the series In the Web of Power, whose lawyer is so focused on her career that her relationship with her son suffers. How were you able to reconcile family and child-rearing with a successful career?

I didn't have to reconcile, i.e. only to a certain extent. My husband and I - who is not only my partner, but also my coach - have wanted children for a long time. We already wanted it when I was still at university, but because of sports, we pushed the date further and later. But when we decided that the time had come for the children to come, I stopped boxing.

Beautiful photos of you could be seen in the newspapers; in addition, she was able to remain a feminine woman even in masculine sports. How did you do it?

The secret is that one must pay attention to oneself. By the way, in the photos taken of me, I really look feminine, but that was a problem for me. I just didn't pay enough attention to that. For example, I don't regularly go to the hairdresser or beautician. My naturopath also warned me that I must dress in "normal", feminine clothes for my fulfillment and complete happiness. Because I am just like a man when it comes to goal setting and consistency. In order to remain a woman, I have to deal with this side of me more. He also advised me to hold training sessions for women so that I feel I can pass on my knowledge to others.

I saw on his website that he hosts a weekly program on the local radio in Baja, where he lives. What are the broadcasts about?

I'm just about to start, but I plan to cover everything that might interest women. About he althy nutrition, exercise, raising children, beauty care, a full-fledged, balanced life, but also about career, because women are just as interested in that as men. It will be everything except politics.

The series "In the web of power" is also based on the topic of career and women, which might provide good topics for your conversations. Have you seen it? Do you like the main character of the movie, Glenn Close?

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm willing to watch two kinds of movies: comedy or romantic. But I love Glenn Close, I think she's a very good actress.

Are you satisfied with your life?

Yes, of course, both in my work and in my personal life. I have two beautiful children who are he althy and both very smart and talented - I think that's the most important thing. I couldn't be more satisfied.

The topic of our conversation is related to the soon-to-be-started series In the web of power, the first season of which will start on October 6 at 9:00 p.m. on AXN on TV channel.
