This weekend is full of programs, it's almost impossible to choose, but it wouldn't be easy to list either.

That's why this week, without a concept or a guiding thread, I selected the programs that seem exciting to me. Dance marathon, Outlaw recruitment, Botondólo majális, Komárom days, Mother's Day majális and other interesting things.

April 29 is World Dance Day. Since this year Pécs is one of the cultural capitals of Europe, that's why I'm starting with this beautiful city, where the Pécs Dance Marathon has been held since Monday, which is on World Dance Day peaks. On Thursday afternoon in Pécs, hundreds of young dancers will take over Széchenyi Square, Jókai Square will host a gala performance by foreign dancers, as well as the Veszprém Dance Ensemble, Tanac and the recently inaugurated Pécs2010 Ambassador Mecsek Dance Ensemble. The performance will be followed by an international evening in the Youth House, where anyone can join in the fun featuring the dances of the participating nations and nationalities.

On the first weekend of May, Betyártoborzó will be held in the National Historical Memorial Park in Ópusztaszer. On Saturday, from 10 a.m., gunpowder fights between outlaws and cops, outlaw trials for young and old, funny stories, shepherd's fire, music, dance hall. The most skillful outlaw can win a perfect replica of Sándor Rózsa's pigskin-covered pistol on display in the memorial park!

On May 1st Szigethalmon in EMESE Park there will be Botondoló majális where children and parents can both have a good time! There will be various competitions for young and old (relay run, team competition, small(do)s competition, pump & run, as well as pedestrian buskashi, vérfoci for adults), Szépmező wing – fairy tale for children, puppet show with giant puppets for adults, en titled "Scenes from a Marriage", as well as lots of interesting programs, which can be read in detail here.

The Komárom days festival continues until Sunday in Komárom, with an unenumerable amount of programs, free cruises on the Danube, handicraft programs, a playhouse for children, a Quimby concert on Saturday night (more for adults), on Sunday, a family party, historical sword fighting show, tug-of-war on the Elizabeth Bridge.

In the King's Castle of Gödöllő, there will be a May Day family weekend, with a puppet theater and crafts, the programs are free.

On Pörböly , the Gemenci Majális is organized in the Gemenc Ecotourism Center, among other things children's activities, making baked bread and fish paste pasta, basket weaving, Reprints of 100-year-old embroidery patterns and other handicraft programs await those interested, and a playground with a pirate ship, old-time games, and funny tests awaits children at the LASSI stop of the light railway. The entrance fee is 1,200 - 2,000 HUF, a family ticket is 6,000 HUF, the tickets en title you to unlimited train travel together with participation in the programs.

If someone has a car-addicted child, I would like to recommend them Drift majálist on May 1 in Kecskemét, where admission is free for children under 10 years old, the price of tickets exchanged on the spot is HUF 1,500, family ticket (2 adults and 2 children - sometimes the "family" as a concept is not treated so kindly in programs specifically for children, I'm thinking here of the combination of 2 adults and 1 child…) HUF 4,000
