In addition to the galleries, the four-story building above and below ground also houses a library, an archive and a contemporary design museum, but there are also several conference and seminar rooms in the 63-year-old designer's latest building, dezeen reports. com. By the way, the design plaza is the first public building in Korea that takes advantage of the three-dimensional digital possibilities of the construction industry: thanks to the technology, the building received such a shaped facade, which consists of 45,000 aluminum panels of different sizes and shapes.

"This design allows the park and the plaza to be seamlessly connected, blurring the boundaries between architecture and nature," the designer, who was the first female architect to be awarded the prestigious Pritzker Prize in 2004, writes on her website about the project, which has dragged on for years. -in.
