Of course, there's not much else they can do.

David Lynch - the director

The Palme d'Or award-winning director created the series shown on the ABC Network channel after such blockbusters as Blue Velvet, Radírfej, Veszett a világ or the unwatchable Dune. However, the success of Twin Peaks, which started in April 1990, has not yet been managed by Lynch to jump again - maybe now. At the same time, several critics and film fans do not believe in reviving the series, and the 68-year-old director is aware of this, which is probably why he thought about the sequel for so long. After the last part of the second season of the series was shown in 1991, Lynch made Twin Peaks in 1992 - Fire, come with me! movie, and in 1997 the Lost Highway - Útvésztóben drama. These were then followed by incomprehensible works such as Straight Story, Mulholland Drive or the even more confusing Inland Empire, which Lynch directed and edited. Less is known about Mark Frost, the screenwriter of Twin Peaks: most recently, in 2007, The Fantastic Four and the Silver Traveler. he worked on the film script, but he also wrote the first part and The Golf Champion. also the movie script.

Angelo Badalamenti - the composer

The now 77-year-old Italian musician from Brooklyn is one of the most decisive composers in the world: without his melodies, the series and its surreal locations and characters would hardly have burned into the minds of viewers. Badalamenti had already worked with the director before Twin Peaks, for example on the 1986 films Blue Velvet and The Lost World, but it happened that he also took on smaller roles: for example, he was a gangster in Mulholland Drive, while in Blue Velvet he was stylistically a he played a pianist. Badalamenti's name is also associated with the music of Paul Schrader's films, he composed, among others, the music for Strangers in Venice and A sex addict, but he also contributed to the orchestration of The Beach directed by Danny Boyle.

Grace Zabriskie - Sarah Palmer

The American actress, who has been actively working since 1978, knocked almost everyone out when she appeared on the screen as the mother of the murdered Laura Palmer. Recognized in the industry, Zabriskie has since been seen regularly in films such as Fried Green Tomatoes, The Wedding Phrases and The Curse. Today, the actress is 73 years old, but she is still active - according to Imdb, she appears in films released in 2014 and 2015.

Joan Chen – Josie Packard

After she started filming in China, Joan Chen also appeared in the series MacGyver in 1985, and since then she has made a name for herself in the industry not only as an actress, but also as a director and film producer. Twin Peaks, in which he played the Asian widow of the deceased sawmill owner who became rich, of course brought him the long-awaited fame, we have seen him in recent years, among others, in the movies In the Shadow of My Brother, Enemy Desires and Four Dinners. And to talk about her direction: the 53-year-old actress is also writing the film Autumn in New York starring Richard Gere and Winona Ryder.

Kyle MacLahan - Special Agent Dale Cooper

The 55-year-old MacLachlan definitely came out well in the character of the agent in a way that is not typical for series actors, and since then we have seen him in such popular series as Sex and New York, Born Wives or How I Met Your Mother. By the way, Twin Peaks was not the actor's first joint work with Lynch, before that he had roles in Blue Velvet and Dune.

Lara Flynn Boyle - Donna Hayward

Unfortunately, the actress who was once a natural beauty couldn't stop herself from plasticizing her face, so she is now just a shadow of the sexy and beautiful woman she was in Twin Peaks. Boyle, who played Laura Palmer's best friend, then stopped at the level of B-category actresses and took part in such forgettable films as Wayne's World, Day Off Baby or As for Sex. Moreover, for his extremely weak performance in Men in Black 2, he even received the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actor in 2002.

Mädchen Amick – Shelly Johnson

There is no question that Twin Peaks was full of beautiful women and if everything goes well, this will be the case in the third season as well. One such striking phenomenon of the cult series was Amick, who played the waitress, whose career, like the others, did not break in two after the series. The attractive actress, born in 1970, did not play an Oscar-winning role anywhere, but she appeared in, among others, The Gossip Nest and The Emergency, as well as recently in the series Witches of East End and also played a role in the film Love Comes on a Harley Davidson. By the way, even now, at the age of 43, she is beautiful.

Michael Ontkean - Sheriff Harry S. Truman

Despite his characteristic face, the Canadian actor born in 1946 was unable to take advantage of the popularity associated with Twin Peaks and somehow good roles and scripts eluded him from afar. After the series, Ontkean appeared in a couple of Daniel Steel's romantic dramas, as well as in quite a few family movies, so we were quite surprised when in 2011 he managed to get into the Descendants starring George Clooney.into a movie. We are eagerly waiting to see if Lynch will offer him a role in the new season or if he will rather remove the former Twin Peaks cop from the list. By the way, according to Wikipedia, I am now in Hawaii.

Peggy Lipton - Norma Jennings

Of the characters in the series, Lipton, now 68, who is also known as a model, has the most interesting life path. The actress who played a cafe owner in Twin Peaks was the wife of Quincy Jones for many years, with whom she had two daughters, Rashida and Kidada Jones. Both of their daughters are involved in acting, so it is also conceivable that they will also have a place in Lynch's latest brainchild. Lipton also dated Paul McCartney in the 1960s, and in 1993, she drew attention to her beauty in Michael Jackson's iconic Black&White music video. In recent years, he has been seen more often in TV series (for example, in the detective series Psych - Dilis), but in 2010 he also appeared in the middling comedy The Well Leads to Rome.

Ray Wise – Leland Palmer

One of Hollywood's most professional and well-known character actors usually plays an evil, bad, sick person in movies, and sometimes the directors simply entrust him with the role of the devil. It was no different in Twin Peaks, where he played Laura Palmer's father, and he obsessively repeated the line beginning with "The bunnies and the baby goats are waiting for the mayday, so why would you be sad?" Film studios are still chasing the actor born in 1947. In recent years, he has appeared in series such as Mad Men, The Deathly Hallowed Diagnosis, Murderous Minds and How I Met Your Mothers, but he has also appeared in movies such as Good Evening, good luck! And he gave his voice to the animated film Superman: Judgment Day.

Sherilyn Fenn - Audrey Horne

The 49-year-old actress' serial character, the lonely, attractive, intelligent and scheming Audrey Horne, was adored by teenage girls in the nineties. The life path of the actress, who comes from an Italian-Hungarian mother and a multi-generational musical family, is very interesting and enviable - is it enough to say that she was Johnny Depp's life partner between 1985 and 1989? Fenn hasn't avoided film roles in recent years either, appearing in series such as Hotel of the Hearts, NCIS, Jóbarátok or Psych - Dilis detectives, and before Twin Peaks he also played in Lynch's Lost in the World, among others.

Sheryl Lee – Laura Palmer and Maddy Ferguson (Laura Palmer's cousin)

The pretty actress born in Germany in 1967 had her first film role in Twin Peaks. It is interesting that Lee was originally only hired to play the role of the corpse (Laura Palmer), but after the first two episodes it turned out that he can act, so they created the character of Ferguson. Later, it was only a hair's breadth for Lee to reprise the role of a dead character, Mary Alice Young, in Born Wives - but the role ended up going to Brenda Strong. Sheryl Lee is still active to this day, she was seen in the nineties, among others, in Notes from the House of the Dead and the film John Carpenter: Vampires, in 2012 she appeared in the series Perception alongside Eric McCormack and Rachael Leight Cook, and in 2014 Jackie&Ryan c. he played in a movie.
