In the presence of the original Finnish Santa Claus, Jolopukki, Vodafone Hungary presented the storybook Max in search of friendship, which serves charitable purposes, a few days ago. At the event, children in need could also meet him, and we also asked him a few questions. He didn't fall out of his role for a single second, not for nothing - he is still the official Santa Claus. We learned, for example, that he is hundreds of years old, his beard grew in 350 years and it took about 100 years for him to turn gray. He takes a sauna at least once a week, it's also good for his beard.

What about the children who have not been exemplary throughout the year? Can I still beautify now?

Of course, bad kids still have a chance. Santa also appreciates if children still help their parents and peers and behave well, so it's not too late to change.

How do you even know who has been like all year?

This is my secret, but I can tell you this much because I have a lot of helpers. In addition to the interpreter-elf who also helps with the interview, there are also elves who specifically watch the children and are invisible. It is safest if the children are always well behaved, because you cannot prepare for the presence of elves. Either through the window or through small gaps, they look to see if the children brush their teeth before going to bed and if they go to bed on time. It is very important that they go to bed on time so that they have energy for the next day, so the elves pay special attention to this.

What do you do in summer?

I also work in the summer, I am in the office in Rovananiemi and I take care of the affairs, and children, grandmothers and grandfathers come to visit me. My summer is spent in the same way with work, although I take time to recharge my batteries, I go on a lot of hikes in nature and I also work with animals.

This is how they help with the book

Vodafone will use the proceeds from the books sold for charitable purposes, and 10 employees of the company will become storytellers until Christmas for the residents of the Mother Protection Foundation in Budapest, the Children's Protection Center in Miskolc, the Fruska Regional Scope Methodological Children's Home, and the Special Vocational School Student Home and Children's Home in Gymrő. and for 10 evenings, children are told stories from the book on mobile phones. The stories are also read out on the page "Lapról rağra" which serves to expand the information, education and entertainment opportunities of the visually impaired.
